Family Care Southwest is pleased to introduce the experienced and skilled Dr. Rob Sims to our practice.  We would like to invite you to make your next appointment with Dr. Sims, so that you can meet him and he can become familiar with your medical needs.

     Dr. Sims has been practicing for 5 years with the Plains Medical Center group located in Limon, Colorado; where he has been running a satellite clinic and taking call 4-6 times a month at Lincoln Community Hospital and Nursing Home.  He is also Chief of Staff and Medical Director for the local Home Health and Hospice organization.  

     Dr. Sims grew up in the Texas Panhandle, and went to medical school at Texas Tech University.  It was not until moving to Colorado for his residency at Rose Family Practice that he met his wife Claudia.

  Dr. Rob and Claudia Sims were married in 2003 and had their first child Makenna in February of 2004.  Their son Nicholas came two years later in April of 2006.  Claudia also has a young son, Reid.  Of course the family would not be complete without their two cats, Felix and Oscar, and a 1 ½ year old Shih Tzu named Sophie.  

     Claudia is a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Labor and Delivery.  She also is employed at Lincoln Community Hospital in Limon. However, with the move to the Denver area she will be taking a job at the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine.
